Our Background

Peter and Lisa Anderson own and operate a family business known as First Fruits Kerikeri. We live on an 18 acre block close to Kerikeri and enjoy a healthy rural lifestyle. We were one of the first blueberry growers in the north and have been operating since 1998. In recent years we have expanded our operation to include commercial raspberries and table grapes.

We aim to be self sufficient; running beef animals, we have our own bees, a big veggie garden, plenty of fruit trees and are currently planting more natives to encourage the birds and the bees.

Our name “First Fruits” has two meanings for us. We strive to be 1st on the market and secondly, we give away the first fruits of what we produce each season.
